Did you know?

Did you know that millions of dollars are lost every year due to air-borne microbial contamination affecting workers’ efficiency, health and sick days off work?

Microbes such as mould and bacteria impregnate food and beverage areas often producing poisonous substances that can in turn result in food poisoning. Air-borne microbes, which are spread through fan units in coolrooms, can cover significant areas of walls and ceilings resulting in large-scale contamination problems if left unattended or not correctly treated.

Benefits of our Treatment Program

Our program treats these areas with a NASAA Certified Organic natural “D-Mould® oil”, which has odour-absorbing and anti-microbial abilities to prevent the build-up of condensation and to control mould and bacteria growth,
e.g. Listeria, Aspergillus, Penicillum, etc.

The fan units will work more effectively, often resulting in a cooler coolroom and a reduction in running costs or burnouts/breakdowns of units and compressors.

We ensure plastic and/or cardboard is free from the fan unit, sludge is removed from the drip tray and outlet drain so that stagnant contaminated water is not dripping or being fanned onto produce or people.

Microscopic bacteria and possible toxic mould contamination is treated and controlled which is not possible with regular cleaning or using high pressure cleaners / air guns.

Improvement in OH&S, HACCP and Food Safety issues for workers and the public.

The Food Safety Management procedures we implement are certified and documented to help in reducing workers compensation insurance premiums.

There is no operational down time to the store’s regular trade.
